Not seeing anything untruthful on the website, I telephoned Shore Capital.
Shore: Hello Mr Smith

Anomalous: Hello Graham. Right, I’m calling up about this letter you’ve sent me.
Shore: Yes
Anomalous: Concerning the website.
Shore: Yes
Anomalous: You haven’t specifically stated where there is an error
Shore: I’ve stated that the statement you’ve quoted us as saying is something that we’ve never said.
Anomalous: Now I’m looking at the website myself right now and the only entry that states the quotation that you made to the Financial Times is in a letter that I sent to the FSA.
Shore: At the bottom of the, at the bottom of the section which says whats this all about.
LONG PAUSE
Anomalous: Right OK, I’ll change that to mention the quote that you made to the Financial Times.
Shore: That’s fine. All we’re asking for is accuracy.
