Started investing in stocks 18 months ago just to beat the banks interest rate and love DIY, swimming, hillwalking and travel with my son.

Ten years in the merchant navy as an electronics officer and now working from home as a sales engineer for a lighting controls company which takes me around the country on a daily basis. Follower of the "best little team in division one", Gillingham (and my one shareholding that performed worse than RSV) as well as an avid interested in karting.

The original 40 year old `Walter Mitty`. Not being a greedy kind of person though ( I just like a lot ), a maximum of a million would suffice. The grass is always greener to the extent of I built, opened and ran a `fast food ` takeaway for 3 years, in 1995 got involved in Commodore `Amigas`, progressed to PC`s & ended up with a successful shop in my hometown in Yorkshire where I live with my partner and 2 sons ( although I have a daughter also but thats another story ). I am an Advanced Craft Heating, Electrical, Joinery etc. guy by trade. I currently am involved in establishing a Security business. I got involved in shares approximately 2 years ago & think I ougt to stick to Plumbing. I love the sea & adore jet-skiing.

46 year old Civil Engineer, who has recently started to dabble in shares to bolster retirement fund. Divorced but have three wonderful children, Stunningly beautiful Trudy 18, Luke the boy (who lives with me aged 15), and Sally, bless her, aged 13. Life has been quite tough recently with the recent break up just prior to christmas with my fiancee. However, getting back on my feet, upwards and onwards and all that !!! Complete flunk out at university early eighties to venture into a musical career which lasted on and off throughout the eighties and early nineties playing in a variety of early new wave bands and rock bands. Toured a lot but never made a penny with the inclusion of supporting well established rock and pop icons of the day. Finally ending up as a session musician, drums and percussion in many London and Southern counties recording studios. Music still is and always will be my No 1 passion.
